Virtual Controller error

This morning I went to play Madden 24 on my PC, I received a This software cannot be used at the same time as the game Virtual Controller error. Its the first time I have received this error. I use DS4 for Windows with a PS3 Dualshock controller. If I close DS4 then Madden 24 will load, if i restart DS4 Madden 24 will close.

I have tried the gpedit fix where you disable Virtualisation but it did not work. Are there any other fixes? Like I said, its been working fine up to today.

    Hey @Mick_Cristofaro 

    If you're having trouble with the software you're using, it is recommended that you disable it before you start the game. Also, try connecting your controller directly to the USB port and running the game without using any extra software.

    Thanks for your response. The controller is connected via USB and DS4 is required or else Madden 24 and Windows cant find the controller.

    The problem which I am having now is that Madden 24 thinks I have two xbox controllers connected, I have one PS3 Dualshock controller connected.
