Why is content on next gen consoles not on last gen consoles like ps4
When I downloaded the game I expected to be able to play the superstar mode and use the new passing. There is no reason that last gen players should be left out of new content that the next gen players have

Due to limitations of the previous generation of consoles certain features like FieldSense, AI enhancements, Superstar, and certain other features are online available on the PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions of Madden 24.

Luckly each version of Madden NFL 24 comes with Duel Entitiliment, which allows you to upgrade your copy of Madden NFL 24 from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, or Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S at no additional cost.
One note, is progress, purchases, and items won't carry over between the two versions but this way you won't miss out on any of the newer features the team has made for Madden 24.
