Extreme lag every single head 2 head game

I am having issues with severe lag every single game of head 2 head and literally every single snap. Literally in the middle of every play it lags out and it says we’re having trouble connecting. So my qb literally just eats sacks and my defense gives up huge tds because by the time my game has caught up the play is over. I have very good internet with an Ethernet cable connected to my PlayStation as I need high speed WiFi because I work from home. I also live in a very populated region I don’t know what to do but it’s making MUT unplayable. Is there any way to adjust max ping before finding an opponent?
