With respect, the app is absolutely the problem. I am a network engineer who freelances in software development, and I can assure this issue is widespread and the app is the issue not the user or their device. 

I can't speak for iOS, but on android 14, oneui 6.1 the app crashes as soon as you authenticate and it pulls down user data from your servers. I'm personally using an s24 ultra, and this is not even really a game, so it's obviously not a resource issue. 

Deleting cache, data, the whole app, all only results in it logging you out and working until it tries to pull your data again. 

This is simply NOT a device issue. The Madden companion app is notorious for these kind of issues, so not collecting data from the user and pushing them a generic mobile game "try turning it off and on again" troubleshooting flow is a waste of time for everyone involved and the definition of customer disservice.

The bottom line is you guys don't care. Post canned response, close ticket. What's even the point? If you just don't care to make the app work, I don't understand why in is even in the play store in the first place. 

You absolutely nailed it. 

I just prebuilt and redeemed the Mahomes AKA card. 

Game shows I have a pack but its not there for me to open. Maybe I will get it after he becomes irrelevant. It did cost me 600k coins to make. 

So, I go back to the companion app to see if the problems are gone and maybe I can open it there

But noooooooo, its still trash

I tried all this weeks ago. I found the forum so of course I found the unhelpful FAQ. 

I guess I was hopeful someone from EA tech support would actually reach out to me to resolve the issue after spending a few hundred bucks on their product. 

Maybe they could tell me why I have multiple personas under one EA account… under one PSN. Maybe EA could help me link my account to the app? Maybe I could open the Mahomes AKA card I redeemed via set today as soon as the card went live?

Is any of this possible or a unreasonable expectation? 

Man, I would love to be able to play and enjoy this game the way it is advertised that I can.

Your app is terrible just absolutely trash. It crashes every single time I try to use it logged in. If I try to redownload it works until I login. Than yet again constant crashes to where I can’t even get into the app. I have read multiple trouble shoots which none work. EA is just a terrible company and doesn’t care about the actual players. The fact we can’t even get a working app but continue to get bent over by these fools is absurd. At this point it’s not even worth trying to fix the company is just money hungry and don’t care about the small stuff. 10/10 would not recommend trying the app!
