i can play online head 2 head just cant join or invite friends it says i dont have the same version, in franchise, h2h or superstar ko, i real’y need a fix for this, this is a huge disappointment
It doesnt work with who i game share with, but it dowsnt work with other friends either
I have been trying to play with my friend for hours now and every time I invite him it says
"Unable to join the session because all players were not on the latest game version. Please make sure all players have downloaded any updates and try again" and I’ve tried everything but nothing works
I can't get you the specifics now but something to the effect that we do not have the same version, when we both have the same version installed, both the current gen (XS X/S). There is a theory that it has to do with game share but I can't confirm as I haven't invited someone who bought the game their self too. I only play with my friend.

Me and my friend have uninstalled and reinstalled clear data hard reset xbox still the same. Just tried again right now
They need to fix this , I spent like 5 hours trying to make it work and nothing . I don’t wanna get off work and waste my time trying to play again

Are you getting an error message? No my friend is too
Does this only happen in one game mode? Happens in all online game modes and expect for franchise
Please share any steps you've tried so far to resolve the issue: I have tried everything so don’t give me any recommendations just update the game and fix it

I don’t have one but I believe the problem is due to we are game sharing . That’s seems to be happening to all of us trying to play with our friend we are game sharing with Xbox gamer tag: HulkOverlord

The message says something to the tune of “unable to join as one of our game versions are not up to date” We checked it and the game version is the same

I'm with you buddy. Unfortunately, EA doesn't care. They may be the first company to block game sharing through this method. The game is broken year after year. They have a job to communicate about issues and no one seems to care or recognize the issue. I'm trying to get a refund through Xbox but I'm screwed cause I started playing, even though I only play squads with my friend as we split teams. I don't know why myself and others fall for this trap every year..
EA doesn't care.
They've sold us a broken game. It happens every year but his year I legit can't play because of it.
Fix will happen in a month.
