Line-up glitch work-around ? (Limited)
So you can edit your line-ups outside of the “Lineup” module. If you go into “My Items” you can select the player you want to add and choose “PROMOTE TO STARTER” This will work for adding in back-up...

I was going to try this later on. Plan is to generate best lineup to cover gaps in special teams and specialists. Then work backwards from item menu adding players from backups to starters.
