PS5 not connecting to my phone for mobile hot spot. Says weak signal.
Any other suggestions?
Also, up until Aug 20, I was able to play MUT.
Can play CFB UT without problems as well as FC24 FUT.

Try using alternate DNS settings as mentioned in the troubleshooting steps here.
I own an accounting practice and work from home. I’m not comfortable messing with my internet connection.
Ill try the mobile spot again and might even try bringing my PS5 to a friends house and see what happens, but I’m not messing with internet connection when 99.9% of my connections have zero problems, including other EA games. There has got to be a better answer.
This is so frustrating. Especially when I could connect then all of a sudden could not and it is only one game / app having the issue.

Just change it for your console by following the steps here. If you don't see a difference, try the Google DNS servers. Those are: Primary alt number 8.8.8.8 - Secondary alt number 8.8.4.4.
Ok. Will try that as well. May not happen until later, but I will let you know what happens.

Also, do you have another PSN ID you can try? Just curious if another account works.
I’ll ask my daughter. I think she has a PS account.
I tried the change DNS settings and no change with either change. Same issue. I can get into Madden but no MUT or Online (same error that servers can’t process request at this time).
Any other ideas?
