Bugs Galore

I’ve been playing Madden 26 since it came out with my brother and it’s been quite buggy since the first title update! Usually madden is okay when it first drops for us then the first big update every year it breaks the game and gets progressively worse as they update it more. For info on what we are doing I am playing on my Xbox Series X and we are playing an online franchise with 32 custom built teams. I understand some of these issues may be because of team builder teams or playing online but for a game we pay for every year it should be complete and not have any issues! So to start ever since the first title update I have had lots of issues with players just freezing in place for no reason and it happens whether I’m the player the whole time or if I switch to them. Like when I’m the kicking team on kickoff and I switch from my kicker to someone else they stop in place and won’t let me move even if I let go of all my buttons and try again they’re still stuck in place. This also happens when I try to block FG’s and XP’s I’ll hold RT or sometimes keep tapping it and angle my left stick towards the kicker as I’ve done all year so far but sometimes my guy will just stand up and freeze in place and do nothing. It happens also when I’m playing defense and switch to someone in the secondary to try to make the tackle but instead my player will stop in place and I’ll let up a big play 9/10 times because the glitch. To note I have the exact same settings as my brother we verified it and his game does not do this at all but mine does. We’ve double checked triple checked and belichecked to make sure our settings are identical. On another note there are glitches when selecting jerseys in the pregame screen sometimes they don’t pop up and you have to back out and go back in or keep switching between your team and the cpu team to get them to pop up which is annoying to waste time on something silly like that. Next sometimes with playsheets if you pick a play on one then finish the down sometimes the playbook screen is blank and you have to back out and go back into playsheets for some reason. Next with custom teams I understand how it could affect certain things but it seems like qb pressure doesn’t exist at all and also home field advantage has no effects whatsoever. Which is strange because team builder just changes the looks of everything it’s not changing the basic script of the game. My last one for this post is some of the announcer lines with custom teams. With ai this day and age I would assume they can add to the script or whatever to make the announcers be able to say anything but it’s simple things like for all 32 teams it always says we’re in Chicago Illinois yet we only have one team based in chicago. It just makes it silly because it’s cities and states and the game gives you the option to put it in other places so the announcers should be able to say them. For example my team is in Hawaii at aloha stadium but they always say welcome to illinois or when I score they’ll say touchdown chicago yet my team name is Tiki’s which is not hard to pronounce. It also is weird they won’t say names of any generated players even if they have the same names as nfl players or simple words they can pronounce. I had one instance where they said Manning because that was an autogenerated rookie I drafted but since then they’ve never said another generated players name again. Which is a bit annoying because it takes away from the cool simulation style. Just curious what anyone has on any of these little issues we experience whether they’re all across the board and actually bugs or if we’re just expecting too much out of team builder! But I know the freezing in place issues must be bugs because that actually affects gameplay significantly!
