Button Glyphs Missing When Passing

When playing in Superstar Mode, during my first regular season week as a starter, I lost the Xbox Controller glyphs for 3 of the passing targets. I lost RB, A, and X. Instead of seeing the button glyphs it just showed question marks. Before the ball was snapped, if I pushed the RT to see the route tree, I could see all the glyphs, but as soon as I snapped the ball I lost three of the buttons.
