I have been having problems on Madden 26 Franchise mode on Xbox, when navigating through the play book when I hit the LB on the controller the game will freeze for a good 2 minutes then go back to the gameplay, then when I scroll to favorite plays on the playbook the game freezes again, and it only happens on offense, even after a play the game will randomly freeze for two minutes then go back to normal, has anyone had this problem?

This crap makes it unplayable. Today consistently in franchise mode I cannot use my favorite plays. It will freeze then switch to my plays then crash. Fix this **bleep** or give me a $50 refund. Pd $80 for the early release and now I can’t even play a quarter. Where is the customer service to report this crap.
Yes! I have the same issue especially when switching to favorites. My game actually always quits out and restarts madden.
OK, this freezing when trying to get to Favorite plays and no updates tells me EA can care less about helping us who have these issues. I have tried switching to another play book and it works for one or two plays and freezes up. I mean if you are in favorites and wait out the 20 seconds to select a play, and run the play, the games freeze after the play. I mean Madden 26 puts my system into rest mode. How do I know it is the game; I play other games and do not have this issue.
It should be noted I purchased the bundle College 26 / Madden 26 and not sure that is the reason or not. College 26 does not have this issue. I went to play franchise offline, thinking the online version was a server issue. Nope still freezes. I have tried the following and it still does not work.
1.) Removed cover on PS5 and cleaned out unit. Some dust on fan, but nothing like YouTube videos show.
2.) Backed up system and rebuild my database from safe mode.
3.) Uninstalled game and reinstalled game.
4.) Reset my controller
5.) Restored my License for Madden 26.
Nothing works, and it is clearly a programming issue and EA Sports is not willing to even address the issue as it is not happening to all. So why does it happen for some? Not sure it happens on Xbox, or other PS5 units. Maybe it is because no one is playing franchise mode until they update the final roster, which I assume will be sometime in September.
I have reported my concern to EA sports and have not heard anything back. You cannot even submit a case or go to their site to let them know as support is down. Hmmm....I wonder why.
I have successfully submitted a case. They want an arm and leg, but I did get a response and EA told me to provide more details. This tells me they are not reading the forum. The forum is nothing more to allow us to express our frustrations, and since they are not reading the forum, they are not required to fix the issues or worse, they do not know how to. I suspect about around playoff time in the real-world NFL; we may have playable game. Has anyone tried to get a refund? If so, is it just a credit for more EA games, or is it actually money?
