I'm playing on PS4 and everytime I go to the "Favorites" play tab, the game freezes for 20 seconds or longer. I've had to completely close the game multiple times, and when I've gotten back into the game and went to the tab for the 1st time it freezes again.
Every year major bug, new the freeze favorites
This has rendered the game inaccessible.
Try deleting your profile do not back out but go to your consoles home screen and quit the game. Downside is you will need to re-enter all settings and audibles and favorites. But will improve the game from freezing temporarily.
I'm having the exact same problem. I don't believe this happened before but it happened to me 3 times tonight before I figured out what was going on.
Same for me, this is while playing Franchise Mode of Madden 26 with the Falcons. It started in week 6.
There’s a big issue with the favorites feature. If you favorite a play, it duplicates itself over and over, and there’s no way to unfavorite it. Once that happens, every time you open your favorites tab the game lags badly — sometimes it freezes for up to 30 seconds, and other times it just crashes.
It also makes it so you can’t use recent plays, especially if those plays are in your favorites. Basically, the duplication bug makes the whole favorites system unusable and messes with gameplay.
Same problem, do you know any way to fix without messing up my data?
It doesn’t matter what game mode I play on but basically if I hit L1 to go to the favorite plays, the game freezes and if Im playing anybody on head-to-head, I get kicked out and lose the game. Also fantasy draft in franchise mode is broken. I bet this game would not be trash if you actually had competition.
Every time I go to my favorite plays the games freezes for a long time or crashes all together! I am running just the bass Jaguars offense and the game crashes.
The game is unplayable for me in franchise mode since yesterday. The Game freezes during play calling. It only happens in between plays. Seems to be getting worse. Today, the game is freezing the throws me completely out of the game back into the main menu. When I go back into franchise mode, Click resume game, it crashes completely, and I have to restart the game. Extremely frustrating.
I’m having the same problem. Game freezes after every play. Also while selecting plays. Hopefully they can fix with some type of patch.
