Legitimate surnames wrongly blocked in Superstar Mode
Title: Legitimate surname "Mangan" incorrectly flagged as profanity in Superstar (PS5)
Platform: PS5
Mode: Superstar
Issue:
When creating a Superstar, the legitimate surname "Mangan" is rejected with the error:
"The text you entered was either profane or contained too many numerics. Please try again."
I tested several combinations and found that changing only the last name to "Manning" or another last name allows the player to be created successfully. Everything else stays the same.
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new Superstar.
- First name: Jude
- Last name: Mangan
- Number: 99
- Hometown: Vancouver
- College: Oregon
- Press Continue.
Expected result:
The Superstar should be created normally.
Actual result:
The game displays the profanity/numerics error and prevents creation.
Additional information:
"Mangan" is a legitimate surname and is my real last name. I was previously able to create a Superstar using this surname before I lost my progress due to the recent EA account issue. It appears to be a false positive in the profanity filter.
