Workaround for Superstar Mode Bug (PS5 – Controller Switch Fix)
I found a workaround for the Superstar mode bug where it doesn’t load properly (or throws you into the wrong mode). This worked for me on PS5:
Steps:
- Log into the account that has the Superstar bug.
- Turn on a second controller and log into a different account (one where Superstar works normally).
- Using the second account (working one), go into Superstar mode.
- Create/load a player to make sure it’s working.
- Back out of Superstar mode.
- Switch control back to your main account (the bugged one).
- Enter Superstar mode again.
Result:
Superstar mode should now work on your main account, and your progress/data should still be there.
Notes:
- This isn’t a perfect fix—some things (like relationships / sphere of influence) may still glitch.
- But it at least lets you actually play Superstar on your main account again.
