Major Gameplay and Performance Issues After Latest Update
Hello,
I’ve noticed that Madden has been acting strangely since the latest update.
- When I switch players after the snap by holding L2 and moving in a direction, my player doesn’t respond properly.
- The triangle button no longer triggers a catch attempt.
- When I play as a safety and try to move into the box after the snap, it feels like there’s an invisible wall — my player gets stuck and won’t move.
- When I play as an edge rusher and try to move after a power or swim move, I also get stuck.
- When I play as a linebacker and try to leave the box because I’m in man coverage, I get stuck as well.
- After kickoffs, my player just freezes and won’t move.
- When I press A or X to quickly get to the play selection screen, my offense suddenly performs a spike play (as if I were holding A or X) — this never happened before.
- In defense, when I try to adjust coverage to “Underneath,” my DBs start running backward as if I pressed up on the D-pad, even though the D-pad menu doesn’t even appear when I press triangle.
The game is currently almost unplayable for me. On top of all this, there are also stutters, lags, and performance drops. Before the update, I had over 120 FPS, but now I have to enable VSync and disable Show Play Art just to get smooth gameplay.
Please look into this — it’s really frustrating.
