Pausing Glitch

Opponent is losing and paused game, will not resume game, leaving me only option to quit even though I’m winning towards end of game. Cost me time and rewards. Needs to be fixed immediately, had this problem in previous years too. Can’t call a timeout or resume game myself either which it what  help.ea.com suggested to do. Waited 45 minutes and counting.
