Cant hear game on headset

So i cant hear my game in my headset. It worked fine last night when i originally downloaded the game but now i cant hear anything. I updated my headset, made sure all my settings were properly set and even uninstalled and installed the game twice. I cannot seem to find out a reason it would just stop working. Anyone think they can help? Also the game seems to be running slow and glitchy here and there.
