Switch 2 -Controller disconnects when pressing x

I've been trying to find a solution to this problem but no luck so far. I'm playing on the Nintendo switch 2 and there seems to be major controller issues happening. Whenever I'm pressing x as an input the controller is disconnecting. I also think this is causing the game to constantly run fakes while kicking or give it to the running back on passing plays. My controller, game, and system are all up to date and the controller works fine with no issue everywhere else in the console and other games. This is only happening when playing Madden 26. Is anyone else having this issue or know of any solutions?
