EA_Shepard I couldn't agree more. Probably another unpopular opinion of mine, but I really feel Franchise was tossed in the trunk after MUT was released. Being put in the back seat would have been fine enough, but that just isn't what appeared to happen. Not that they haven't put time or effort into it, but in previous years, I feel it's been pretty transparent that it hasn't been the priority. I'm really glad they took extra time out this year to work on it, but I really feel it needs to stay a priority.
GVRH Believe me it isn't an unpopular one. I see quite a lot of this and not just on these forums. Ive had people pull some sentiment on the game and the franchise is always on that list. Not always negative mind you, but it is always there being discussed. It has so much potential because of the mode it is.

EA_Shepard I can definitely see both sides of the discussion. MUT was a pivotal for revenue I think in terms of long term success. It seemed to usher in a new generation of players while alienating the former in the process. I played MUT for a time, but overall am not a fan of it. I ultimately felt it ruined the integrity of Madden, especially concerning franchise. But, I also see now, later on, how it helped maintain the success of the game overall.
