Community Managercc9e9c6bf86df230 I am familiar with it. So, for refunds, requesting on the forums wont do anything because there isn't a way to do that as Community Managers are not Live Support.
EA Help can only process a refund IF it was purchased through the EA app. Any purchases made through a third party (not through the EA app) must be requested through that retailer. EA is not the retailer. EA is the publisher. The retailer is whom the product was charged and purchased through.
If the game was purchased in the EA app, you would contact EA help. If it was not, you must contact that retailer as the refund falls under that retailers refund policy.
