I have four players on it and off the shelf be off by now they keep getting week to week injuries I have injuries off in every way and they are still in ir

You are out of luck dude. IR has not worked like the NFL rules EVER.
EA is either too stupid or too lazy to actually code IR to adhere to NFL rules.
Never have, never will.
No financial benefit for them, so they simply ignore it.
Either turn off injuries, or play along and like it.
That sucks my cb2 and dt 1,2,3 are all out and the playoffs just started
All you can do is check every week. I seem to recall in M25 that after an extra week or two they might come back.
I had to wait for the season to end then they came back
