When starting the offseason rookie draft, I get the following message when making my 2nd draft selection: “staff made the draft pick because draft clock expired”
Tried pausing the draft clock, disabling the draft clock, restarting the game and nothing fixes the issue. Please fix this issue EA.

Not yet, but I submitted a request to EA about the issue. Hopefully it’ll be fixed in the 2nd wave of updates.
I wouldn’t hold my breath. Not a new issue. Was the same for the last iteration and seemed to disappear. But, I guess not.
I’m experiencing the same thing. It’s very frustrating. I saw there was an update overnight but it didn’t seem to fix this today. EA, please fix it.
The fact that the original requests on this were made TWENTY SIX DAYS AGO and there is still no response from anyone on the EA team is too perfect
I tried starting a new franchise after the last 2 updates. Simulated ahead to rookie draft and this glitch is gone, but still happens with franchise saves started before the updates. So the only way around this is to start franchise over again ugh
Its still bugged. I got the game like 2 days ago and got to the draft. Had the timer shut off and it still went an auto picked for me
