Madden franchise rookie ratings lowered for no reason

When I start a franchise, I notice that the rookies ratings are somehow lowered and it looks like morale but it doesn’t really change. It also is only the rookie that this happens to and it normally ...

Weird. I have not experienced this. Are you sure you’re loading the current roster and not the launch roster?
