Pre existing injuries not working

Hello I tried to start a franchise with the updated rosters (Brian Robinson on the 49ers, Isaiah Bond on the Browns) and the pre existing injuries arent working. Watson isnt hurt, Tank Dell isnt hurt, etc. Yes I turned them on when I started the league. Any work around for this?
