Amazon Luna Dropping EA?
I purchased Madden 26 through Amazon's Luna gaming app on my TV. Now Amazon says that in June 2026 it's discontinuing games bought from "third party" companies, including EA, Ubisoft, GOG, and others. Those games will no longer appear within Luna. Amazon says you can still play your third party games and listed websites for EA and other companies. I don't see how it's possible to play a "Luna" version of Madden 26 or any other "Luna" game, on my TV. If it was an Xbox version then I could find a way to play it, but it's not. Maybe it's considered a PC version of Madden 26? Anyone have any ideas how I can play this on my TV without using Luna?
Hey nkrbtjfw1cti,
From what I understand, you would still be able to play Madden NFL 26 through the EA app after the 10th of June. That does mean you would need to have access to a PC that can run the game.
From the recent Amazon Luna announcement:
Will I lose the games I've already purchased?
After June 10, 2026, previously purchased a-la-carte titles will no longer be playable on Luna. However, you can continue to access them directly through the third-party platform account you had linked when you made the purchase on Luna:- EA: EA App
- GOG: GOG Galaxy
- Ubisoft: Ubisoft Connect
It might be best to reach out to Amazon support to see if they have more details on how that will work. You can find more info on how to reach them over at the Amazon Help website.
