Franchise mode difficulty and passing settings

I can't figure madden 26 out. Just for background I am a casual madden player that really only plays franchise. I buy the game every year just to be able to have a chill game to play, but in madden 26 the difficulty settings is cooked. I put it on rookie and drop 50-70 points and have like 10 sacks. Then I put it on Pro and maybe win by 3 point and am constantly throwing interceptions to psychic AI. The passing feels like RNG. I know I am probably not great at the game but I dont want to be great. I just want to chill after work and play some football with my team. Let me know what yall think, maybe my settings are cooked or something.
