Injured reserve

How on earth do you make an NFL game with a coaching career mode and forget to add in the ability to remove players from IR? If the player is healthy, and he's been on IR for at least four weeks, NFL rules state teams should be able to move him from IR back to the main roster. How could they possibly justify overlooking this?
