Came here to keep this thread fresh. EA, please fix these trophies asap. Everyone with the game paid full price at this point, and we expect a working game. I would also really like an explanation from EA on what exactly a tendency counter is since I can't seem to find a true definition anywhere on here.
In old versions of Madden, at the start of each half you could select an offensive and defensive tendency. "Defend run", "Defend short pass", "Defend medium pass", etc. You had to pick a defensive tendency at the start of the second half then have a turnover in the correct play type (e.g. select "defend short pass" and then intercept a short pass). It's supposed to be a pretty easy trophy.
This feature seemingly vanished from most (possibly all?) game modes this year, so there's some confusion on that. Two people on PSNProfiles earned the achievement, so it's possible that tendency counters still exist in some game mode or with a certain tweak to settings, but I haven't been able to find any info on that.
