Despite the college game getting a sun that actually works like a sun, moving relative to the Earth (or vice versa), somehow Madden's team was not aware that the sun is not a static lightbulb in the sky. I'm just tired of hoping. I think I might be done.
I have attempted to add an image of four quarters of gameplay. The shadows don't move an inch, which means the sun in the Madden Universe just hangs statically like a lightbulb.
I’m also seeing this bug. It’s only working if I simulate between quarters using supersim. We need a patch to fix!!
But you’ll notice that even doing that makes no difference for the 1pm games. For those, it’s static no matter if you play the game fully or super sim it. And then it only works sometimes for the late games even when super simming. It’s just completely broken and no one on the Madden team seems to want to fix it bc you can’t tell me the devs don’t notice it. How can you not!!? We need more people to continue posting and complaining which is the only reason College football 26’s dynamic lighting was fixed.
I’m optimistic that they will fix this in the first update!!!

Really? Beacuse it's been in the game for ten years. I highly doubt it's getting fixed at all. It won't until there's a real uproar about it.

Maybe its certain stadiums its not working on or time of day. I have seen dynamic lighting in my late afternoon games. Maybe its the shadows that need fixing on the players??
I was able to get dynamic lighting to work in a 6 minute quarter game with no accelerated clock in Baltimore in Play Now. I think it might be tied to the number of plays happening in a game. So if you play short quarters (especially with accelerated clock), you may not see it.
Wat time did your game start? Did it change from quarter to quarter like in cfb26?
I wonder if accelerated clock is the problem. I played a whole franchise 10min quarter with accelerated clock and it remained static🤷🏾♂️
