Unable to accept invite to Madden 26 Championship

I'm attempting to sign up for the competition.  It says I'm good to go, but wait for the queue to open up.

I click the discord server link and it says unable to accept invite.   Is this because the queue isn't open yet or do I have a problem.

I'd appreciate someone's help.  That's the whole problem I have with the darn competitions and discord, etc.
