Like you I doubt this thread will get noticed but I’m actually ok with that. The game needs so much work that I really just hope they concentrate on fixing the gameplay first. The graphics are great. The ideas have been good. Unfortunately they spend too little time fixing gameplay before the launch. They need to prioritize and the top priority should always be the gameplay. Once that is dialed then build the rest of the game.
Many people want the tats and drip. I think AI could easily handle that too. The idea of a franchise mode store is interesting but if that’s the route they go then the retail price for the game needs to drop some. Bet if they switched to a Fortnite model it would be just as profitable. The ready player one idea of giving out the game for free where all the revenue is via in game purchasing is pretty brilliant.
I actually talked about this with a few friends about a week ago (we are all in our 30’s) we talked about how we are in the ”patch era” now, where companies can just churn out and rush games even though they are not finished, properly tested and still riddled with bugs. They can just ”patch those bugs” as they go along over the games life cycle! No big dea!
Back in the day when you had a physical disc and there were no patches and updates, you got what you got at launch! If a company released a game full of bugs that was unfortunate cause they were there now, nothing to do about it. So, it feels like companies are much more relaxed with testing now since they know that they can just fix issues and bugs in post with patches.
