We were up 7 at the end of OT…

So me and my buddy were just playing a game in 2v2 ultimate team. We came back from 17-7. We went into OT after kicking a field goal at the of the 4th to tie the game up… we go into overtime, score a touchdown and the other team had about a minute left.. IN OVERTIME.. anyways. These guys make it down the field to our 3 yard line. but the clock ran out in over time.. 0 seconds.. but it gave them ANOTHER OVERTIME PERIOD. And they scored a touchdown, then went for 8… do I just not know the rules or after the first overtime period.. if we’re winning and the time runs out. IS THE GAME NOT OVER??? LIKE [removed]?!?! That was our superbowl game too. And in the 2nd overtime period. They started at our 3 yard line too bc that’s where they ended off after the first overtime period, WHEN WE WERE ALREADY UP BY 7 AT THE END..
