I get it should be competitive and it’s fun to have a little bit of back-and-forth but to the level how bad defense is from the user level on this game compared to CPU is crazy. But doesn’t matter what you do everything is completed or if you do stop them for two downs they get a crazy third and 30 yard pass.
Are you on All-Madden?
I’m on all pro I think. It’s just insane this year that guys just don’t cover or the defense is just slow compared to everyone on offense. You sack them a couple times and then all the sudden they get a 35 yard gain. None of these defenses cover at all
What's your speed parity, coverage, and reaction slider at? I play on All-Madden and what you're saying seems to be an issue across the board. Too much of pretty much everything from speed, pursuit, catches, knockouts, etc...all seem to be in favor of CPU far too often essentially making the ratings useless. Myself and a couple others have posted about this already. It makes the game feel cheap and unfun. I've adjusted sliders to make it tolerable on AM in terms of consistency, but it has not fixed the problem of overalls being essentially useless.
Every single third and long is favored WAY, WAY, WAY too much for the CPU in this game. It's insane. The CPU in this game converts 3rd and long at too high a clip. It's not a situational play calling thing. It's a "this game is broken" thing.
I fully agree. 4th down is a problem this year to. The CPU is able to run/pass commit with way too much consistency for a stop. They need to tune it asap.
I've been literally watching what happens. I'm noticing that my Tampa 2 LB who is supposed to be guarding the middle loves to just randomly abandon his zone assignment and rush the QB, leaving the middle just wide open for the QB to throw into. WTF?
My favorite is when the QB scrambles and gets 10 yards down the field minimum before the LB's are even aware of the fact. Talk about an equals opposite problem; Rush when you shouldn't, and not rush when you should 👌
