10/22/25 Update Completely broke the game for me.

I was really hoping EA would address this as so far it seems they have completely ignored it. After how madden 25 started out i was sceptical to even buy Madden 26 for my PC, However it started of great 300 hrs played with game acting perfect! Now as i see everywhere this patch broke it soon as the ball is hiked everything goes into slow motion completely unplayable. I have tried as others everything to fix it to no avale. I'm so disappointed in EA's response (silence) on this issue. Thank you to the players for trying so hard to find a way to address this!  FYI Ryzen 9 7900x ,64 gig ram, rtx 4070TIS   

Same here.   Everything was running great until this last update where it is now stuttering like crazy.

Still broken! Even after turning off On Field Visual Feeback, its fine for offline, but the moment you load into an online match its a jittery mess. What a shame.

Same here can play offline but online is unplayable. Unacceptable EA

I am also having the same issues. Before this recent update I was able to play at these exact settings without issue and it looked great and ran very smoothly: 1080p X 1920p resoltuion, borderless windowed, Ultra Raytracing settings, V-Sync off, G-Sync off, HDR off. When I first got the game on release day, I spent around an hour trying to find settings because the game would be perfectly smooth and working fine and then in the middle of the game it would just crash without any apparent reason, my solution to that was to turn off fullscreen, HDR, v-sync, and g-sync and it the game played great and the crashing stopped. Now, following this new update, the game is freezing and stuttering like crazy to the point where the game is not even playable at the moment. I updated my Windows version, made sure to use the latest graphics drivers, everything you would normally due when you encounter stuttering in a game after previously having no issues, but nothing worked. Game remains unplayable until EA finally decides to fix the mess that they created with this new update. I am very dissapointed that I will not be able to play my Giants rebuild franchise and stay up way too late playing the game. EA needs to pay attention to their PC gamers, as they really only focus on console and they do not care if there game works properly on PC or not. 

My PC specs just FYI because they are plenty good enough to run the game without issue:

RTX 5060

I5 14400F

32 GB RAM

Gen 4 NVME SSD

Same exact issue all the same drivers… paid 2,000 dollars on this pc for a $70 game to not even fix its own issues. Genuinely horrible company and will never get any bread out of me again.

tried everything under the sun and almost deleted the game and turning off "on-field visual feedback" finally did it for me. thanks

Felt like the little workaround trick helped last night, but now the game is just back to being unplayable again tonight online.
