Madden 26 lag out issue

So when my friend and I get on madden, he invites me to ultimate team squads and I join. When I join and we both select offense or defense, and we both ready up, it searches for a game and then instantly brings me back to the lobby and says the servers can’t connect. I’ve tried restarting, closing apps too. It lets him play with any of his other friends, but I can’t.
