(PC) Extreme stuttering but only when AI team has the possession of the ball...
It is as strange as it sounds.
Yes, I'm on Windowed Borderless, locked the Max FPS to 120, lowered Shadows, Crowd, and VFX. And yes, I've turned off On-Field Visual Feedback. Updated drivers and restarted multiple times with different settings and reinstalled -- yet the issue remains.
My Specs: Intel i7 11700k, RTX 3080 TI, 32GB RAM
The Issue: When in-game it stutters for a quick second when I have the ball, usually just after making a play call as the team is getting to the line of scrimmage, and it does that for every play, but it never gets worse than when the AI team takes control. When they have the ball, it'll do the quick 1-second stutter, and sometimes longer freezing/pauses after I pick my play line up. After about 3 to 4 plays of that, while lining up to the ball the game stutters and freezes every second. When I pause the game, it takes at least 4 or 5 seconds to register my input, and everything looks somewhat normal, but the scoreboard doesn't appear and it's just some white boxes. However, even after unpausing, the issue continues freezing and stuttering every second until they hike the ball, then suddenly everything is normal and the game doesn't have an issue until the next play is called. It might run with that 1-second instance stutter for another play or two before doing it again every second until the ball is hiked.
If I play on offense, none of this is an issue aside from the quick 1-second stutter after calling a play.
I can't imagine what other settings I'd have to change at this point. I was able to keep the same settings since launch without any issues aside from the menus being sluggish, which is unfortunately too normal and accepted to be an issue.
