The fix is taking all abilities of any player you have figured it out myself today!
I started playing the game this morning as I favourited a handful of defensive plays. After a couple of games I started to get massive freezes and lag on defence every time when selecting a play. That is when I realised that according to the game I have favourited over 22 thousand plays. In reality, the game has just created thousands of copies of the 8ish plays I had favourited and duplicated them in the favourite play section. It seems the only way to fix this is to un-add each of the 22-thousand plays individually.......

Something similar is happening with the plays for me, the game is duplicating like 40 of my favorite offensive plays every new game in franshise mode i play. It's making the game pretty unplayable with all the clutter. Even if i hop into H2H or exhibition they are still duplicated
