Roster update not uploading into Franchise Mode

Starting a new franchise and I can't get today's roster update to load in properly - doesn't matter if I choose offline or online solo franchise mode. I have updated the latest roster that reflects today's roster update changes via the creation center and I can see the updated roster when I go to 'manage players' within the creation center menu. I've tried clearing all saved roster files and making sure the only one is the latest update. But each time I load up a new franchise it is still showing the previous week's (week 10) roster - JSN is 93 but still star dev, etc. Is anyone else experiencing this issue and is there a fix? I am on Xbox if that makes a difference.
