starting yesterday I've started to have horrenouse stutters/freezes almost as soon as I catch a pass and midway through my run plays, i have a 5060ti and i5 14600kf and have ran the game at 120 at 1440 for the longest time no issues. Now i cant even play the game, and nothing changes even after i put everything on low and moved it down to 1080p

Until the last mini-patch (released on 28th March or close) the game ran perfectly in every mode/component ( menus, frenchise , custome game, on line) now there's this very annoying issue which not occured in training mode (so it should be something related to crowd, commentary or whatever else).
It's obviously not a "hardware problem" since all the drivers are up to date but above all the game was very smooth even at "ultra" details until a few days ago... I have already opened a ticket but with little hope. Disabling "on field visual feedback" doesn't help but on the other hand, the game run very well even with that option enabled since 4-5 days ago...

Having the exact same problem... tried all fixes from Oct '25 (such as disabling on field visual feedback like the other above), but still stuttering, still predictable, after any catch, or midway through run plays, or during skill moves.

Just to point out the the issue have nothing to do with the latest Nvidia drivers 'cause when it began I 've been using an older version, than I obviously update but precisely, that's not the problem...

the problem only occurs with this game and only since reported, other games run perfectly, even on "ultra" details, including your Pga Tour 2k25 .
I have the same issue 7900xt with i5 13600K.
Adding my data to this. I’ve had a consistent 120 FPS for weeks, and as of this recent update, the game has become unplayable. Through 3rd party monitoring I see Animation Error spikes exceeding 751ms specifically during pre-snap and defensive sequences.
I have already exhausted the following "fixes" with zero improvement:
Software: Process Lasso (Affinity/Priority), ParkControl (Unparked cores), and clearing Shader Cache.
System/Security: Disabled Control Flow Guard (CFG) in Windows Exploit Protection for Madden26.exe and repaired EA Anti-Cheat.
Settings: Borderless Windowed, capped 120/60 FPS, Ambient Occlusion OFF, and Visual Feedback OFF.
In groups that I am in who are having the same issues, they say disabling Hyper-Threading (HT) in the BIOS as a workaround. While this may work for some, it is unacceptable to require users to hobble their hardware and sacrifice system-wide performance for a single poorly optimized title. This is clearly a thread-scheduling regression within the Frostbite engine's interaction with Intel 13th Gen architecture. We need an actual stability patch, not mangling our BIOS settings. If you need any more data to try and fix I can supply whatever I have! Until then the game is basically unplayable.
it was the day of or day before the greg jeennings was released im p sure since i logged in and claimed it but quickly stopped since It was close to impossible. It seems consistent in every game mode whether it be MUT, quickplay, and training camp. I am on stretched resolution of 1920x1440p, but I've switched to normal 1440p and I have been on stretched for months with no issues. Genuinely just logged in one day and had this issue without me changing or doing anything.
