We're looking into the connection issues that we've recently been seeing with MUT.
I see that a few folks have already shared workarounds here in the thread. We really appreciate that. Here's another one worth trying in case you're still having trouble:
- Reconnect to EA Servers by tapping R2 or Right Trigger on your controller
- Enter Superstar from the menu, then choose Showdown Ranked
- Exit from Superstar back to the main menu
- Open your Notifications and select "You've unlocked a MUT item"
