When is the Injured Reserve going to be fixed

Has anyone else not been able to take people off IR? Using the "put on practice squad fix" but you can't do that with everyone. Definitely kills franchise mode, since my players are getting injured for 4 to 8 weeks and can't sign anyone new to replace them.
