Accelerated clock: are these expected behaviors?

I've noticed two odd things about the accelerated clock. One is that it seems to always run in challenges even if I have it set to off in game options. This can make it way more difficult to complete challenges that are based on what you achieve during "this quarter" rather than "this drive" (since they're usually three minute quarters).

The second thing which I just noticed in the last challenge (I don't think it was doing this before), when the accelerated clock runs down after I went out of bounds, the play clock also ran down. I'm no expert on football rules, but I thought "going out of bounds stops the clock" was one of the most basic rules there is.

Are these expected values or bugs?
