Hi,
so I have EA Play and played about 2 hours upon release of the game and now I want to finish out my 8 hours to see if I want to buy the game, however I keep getting an error that I can’t connect to the servers. I can’t even select offline items. I’ve seen a few complain about this on twitter as well.
Could someone assist please?

If you're still having some trouble connecting to the servers can we try out some troubleshooting to see if we can get you back up and running? When you have the chance please try running through the basic connectivity steps over at the EA Help website to see if that helps at all.
If you're still getting the same error message after that check out the platform-specific steps as well:

I have the same problem and I have reset my WiFi and redownloaded it and i still have the same problem
