Error--Our Servers Cannot Process Your Request at this Time

Summarize your bug I'm unable to play Madden 22 (Ultimate challenges, Yard, Superstar KO, nothing) on next gen (Xbox Series X) since the Trial ended, and I purchased the MVP edition weeks ago. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, cycled the Xbox, changed the lineup to Best Overall, put in nothing but gold players, contacted EA Help twice, etc. My son is able to play everything, btw, on the exact same Xbox. Also, my son and I share the same EA account, so this discredits the thought that two Xbox gamertags under 1 EA account is preventing it. We each have our own gamertag under the same EA account (EA placed our two gamertags under 1 account years ago since we shared the same Xbox and Xbox Live gold). We'd unlink his gamertag from my EA account, but then he would lose all of his progress in Star Wars Battlefront, Battlefront 2, Rebel Squadrons, Jedi Fallen Order, etc. Also, because I don't want to be banned, my son is not playing Madden. But we did load up the first Preseason Ultimate Challenge to test if he could get in and he does. Yet I'm not able to. Very frustrating!!!
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? It's all around the community.
What happens when the bug occurs? I'm able to load into the main menu. The game pulls my account information and syncs with my EA account. Then when I try to play a solo Ultimate Challenge, it gives me the Error Screenshot and kicks me back to the menu. When I try to play Superstar KO or the Yard, it loads into the main menu and freezes, not giving me an option to continue.
What do you expect to see? The game that I purchased allowing me to play it.

  • @JasonK360 ☹️ did you do a full power cycle (incl. the router/modem) when cycling your device? a full power cycle often solved similar issues regarding the connection to EA servers for many players. but frankly it is just a shot in the dark trying to help.

    how to do it: >>> unplug your modem, router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem and router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. <<<

    Yes, I did that.  Thank you.

    Also, my son was able to play the game on the exact same Xbox, so it's not a connection/port/Microsoft issue.  It is entirely on EA's end with my account.

    Yes, I do see Franchise mode on the main menu  Not sure if it's offline mode or not since I've never played Franchise.

    And, I haven't been banned.  I did have a ban on my account last year, Madden 21, I think unfairly.

    Also, I'm able to play the disc version on my old Xbox One.  I just can't play the Digital Dual Entitlement version I have downloaded on the Xbox Series X.

    @JasonK360 welcome! 🙂 thank you for your nice words! I hope we will find a solution for you!

    given what you wrote so far, I'd guess your issue might be an aftermatch of your ban last year. I've read quite a lot of reports where a ban has been lifted (or it expired) and players still faced some symptoms similar to be banned. I'm not sure how this issue can be solved but I'd contact EA Help and discuss this issue with them. They should see this information in your account, but I'm not sure whether they have the tools to remove any remaining ban fragments that might be still there.

    By the way: what I've heard is that the most fruitful way to contact EA Help is using twitter. The EA Help twitter team seems to be better trained.

    Finally, I'd like to add that my assessment/suggestion is based on what I've read in this forum over the last months (and what I've heard from the community managers). So, it's just my guess...
  • This worked for me, deleting all friends off my list and closing app and then restarting console, everything was fine after that..
