Inconsistent Difficulty in Solo Battles

@EA_BlueberryI'm including you here because you've commented on my other complaints about my solo battles vanishing before I get the chance to play them. I am now encountering something different, but that I believe may be related. I am now encountering inconsistent difficulty levels when I play my solo battles. Actually, I've encountered inconsistent difficulty all year, but the degree of inconsistency seems to have increased lately. I play all of my solo battles on the highest difficulty: Legend. My team is a 98 OVR Rams Theme Team, with 98 OVR defense and 98 OVR offense. My Rams Theme Team is almost as good as it can possibly be with the cards that are currently available.

However, on the heels of my complaints about my solo battles vanishing I am now encountering difficulty stopping teams or moving the ball against seemingly weak opponents and the difficulty level of my opponents appears to be inconsistent. Just a few weeks ago, I would demolish a seemingly difficult team with a high 80's OVR, like 87 or 89. But just now I had difficulty against a 72 OVR team and achieved a correspondingly low score. I believe that I have had this happen before, but never to such a shocking degree against such a seemingly weak opponent.  I don't understand why I sometimes annihilate a team with a high OVR and then struggle against a team with a low OVR. Obviously, I've destroyed low OVR teams before. A 72 OVR team should be annihilated with a team of my caliber. Why would I beat a 72 OVR team 80 - 0 one week and then struggle to win against a similar team 30 - 14 the next week? It doesn't make sense.

My question is simple: Why is this happening? I know what you're going to say. That maybe I played poorly in that particular game.  No. In Solo Battles--because it is run by a computer opponent and not a human--I have a set group of plays that I run over and over again that are designed to run up the yardage and the score in order to achieve a high score. When the computer runs a counter to one play, I have another counter. And because Solo Battles are against a computer AI, when the game runs normally those plays work.

My feeling is that the difficulty level of my solo battles is being manipulated somehow. I can see no other explanation. Of course, this is a very difficult thing to prove. It is more of thing that I can feel as I play the game. This, combined with my Solo Battles vanishing whenever I appear to have a chance at the Top 100, gives me the feeling that my account is possibly being targeted for some reason.

I have seen other posts claiming that EA uses DDA (Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment) in Madden and I've also seen EA repeatedly deny such accusations, but I have a very difficult time coming up with an alternative explanation for what I am seeing in my game. My feeling is that either my account is being targeted for some reason, or EA uses DDA.  Do you have any explanations or solutions to this issue?
