Just to be clear, you're not able to play any modes whatsoever? Did you ever unlink your Xbox gamertag/PSN ID?
Hey so i just wanted to let you know that last night i was able to connect if i just kept trying to connect my EA account but now this morning it doesn't let me no mater how many times i try and my friend bought the game last night and his is just fine so i tried to re-install the game and nothing worked. and we are both on PC as well

I am on Playstation 5 disc version, i am on a type 2 wifi, this occurred 24 hours ago, i was inside of madden ultimate team and just added a new player into my team. the bug occurs anytime i try to get into MUT.
So the way I found that kinda works when it wants to us to keep hitting the game mode you wanna play and with that it will sometimes let you connect but as I said SOMETIMES. You just have to spam it.

Ok listen EA isn't helping .. they're even playing stupid and having you do all this dumb stuff when clearly the game isn't working properly.
This works for me and I hope it works for you... Change your network setting on your console to your hotspot from your cellphone .. you'll see you can now access the EA servers .. then do anything .. like adjust your lineup or buy a player or something and switch back your network settings to your orginal wifi connection and it WORKS.. SO HOTSPOT TO LOGIN .. DO SOMETHING .. SWITCH BACK TO ORGINAL WIFI.. I really hope this works for you guys ! Good luck boys

Only in madden ultimate team, the game mode which I mainly play as a competitive player, has made it so I am unable to play any games of online, solo challenges/battles, play a friend, nothing works while I am still able to access the auction house, buy/sell cards and get rewards for completing objectives (purchase a pack). I can change my lineup anyway I want to, but just cannot play anything, and whenever I attempt to it gives me the error message of “Our servers cannot process your request at this time. Please try again later.” And whenever I attempt to search for a MUT head to head game it will just queue infinitely until I cancel it, the longest queues I have sat in trying to get a game is 45 minutes. I have quit app every single time before opening up the game, restarted my xbox numerous times, reset my internet, and even tried a family members Xbox Series S to see if that would work, but no luck. I have, however, used the same Xbox Series X to play on another account, so it is a bug that is going on with my account and I do not know the cause of it. It began on 8/17 so I have not been able to use my team since that day in any way. EA Help has told me that there is “no fix available” and also that an update should be soon because the team knows about this issue, but even after the two periods of server maintenance nothing has helped. Also, don’t know if this has anything to do with the bug/glitch stated above, I cannot play any franchise/fotf games. I can load in start whichever career with any position, but I cannot actually play in either of these game modes. I can sim the weeks on franchise mode, but as of now the fotf game mode is literally unplayable because it has my controller icon gets placed and is stuck in the middle whenever I try to start the first preseason game, and the same with franchise if I would actually like to play with my team my controller icon is stuck in the middle of the two teams making it unplayable even though I can at least build a team and simulate seasons with them. In Play Now, I can choose sides so it’s not anything with my controller having an issue, and these problems do not occur trying to switch sides/select teams in other games. Haven’t contacted EA Help about this because ultimate team is my main game mode and that’s the only real concern I have is getting that back. Any and all help is appreciated and if you’re having this issue as well, upvote or whatever it is on this forum so it can hopefully be more of a priority and these bugs/glitches get fixed.
