When the game first released at 12 I went to login and it wouldn’t let me connect to the servers to play anything online, so I just assumed it was because everyone was on the game at once. But still everytime I go to try and login and play online it says I can’t connect to the EA servers.

What were you doing when it happened? trying to play Madden 23 but also tried to play BF 2042 (its an EA issue)
What was the last action you completed before it happened? turned console on
How often does the bug occur? everytime i open the game
Steps:hard restart. fresh reinstalled the game twice rebooted modem and router

Ive been playing Madden 23 since the 16th August with NO ISSUE. today when i turned the game on i got a message saying my trial was over and id have to buy the game. Problem is i pre-ordered the game weeks ago and have been playing with no issues. So i tried to reinstall after a couple hard resets of the XBSX. Now i get the "have to be online and signed in to play Madden 23" message. Well I am online and I am signed in. All my other games except BF2042 work with no issues. Single player games multiplayer games.
This is a major issue, EA does not care. This issue has no solution and likely will not be addressed. If where you bought youre copy of the game wont give you a refund, im am deeply saddened to tell you that you have lost your money and can only play "Play now". After years of intentionally avoiding Ea games because of the lack of innovative ability and poor programming, I decided to give Madden 23 a try and i had this issue... i guess somethings never change

This is a dumpster fire. Can't play a game... no options to even play around with it either. Just a dumb AFC vs NFC matchup.

Are we all located in the Northeast United States ? Seems like the issue can be pinpointed to a specific server location if so.
I followed up on my refund request and was denied again from steam. Will EA step in and refund us in that case ? We are clearly not getting the product advertised.
Yup this is exactly what I do !!
No matter what I load it says servers cannot process my request or that I am disconnected from ea severs
