There are too many interceptions! Almost all somewhat covered routes are caught by the CB's. This will be adjusted again?
Even very good and experienced players on youtube throw one interception after the other....
I'm saying if the sliders worked, people can adjust the interception level to where they want. You can make it more realistic by using the slider or keep it where it is if you like this arcade style interceptionfest.
Going on almost a month and the interceptions issue still isn't fixed. Not cool bro. Not cool at all.
I said on this board after playing the beta Madden 23 was gonna be the year of too many interceptions and too many sacks. The defenders react to balls with there backs turned its crazy. They jump routes as soon as the QB raises his arm to throw the ball. The ball speed is way too slow and there still isn't an arc or trajectory on the ball. Every time my QB gets hit he throws a pick. The ball never just hits the ground its thrown 15-20 yards downfield for an easy interception. And defensive backs run better routes than WR do. Man coverage is OP too many CB running step for step or even in front of the WR especially on go routes. And then when the ball is thrown the defender jumps up 20 feet in the air to knock the ball down.
This might be the most ignorant response ever. I’m sure you’re waiting on your new controller to come in since you threw 6 picks in the first half in this trash game.
Through week 6 in my franchise league the best passer has 18 touchdown passes and 16 interceptions. He is the only user in the entire league that has more touchdowns than interceptions. That tells u all u need to know about this game. Everyone else has like 10-12 touchdown passes and 25-30 interceptions it's PATHETIC!
So EA was upposed to put out a patch for all these interception problems yet, I still see the same *. LB flying 10 yards to pick a pass to clear open WR. Not a TE. A WR! Even worse I'm throwing to wide open WRs and for some dumb reason, my QB over throws him yet at the bottom of the screen it says "ACCURATE PASS". IT'S ABOUT TIME THE NFL ALLOWS SOMEONE ELSE TO MAKE A FOOTBALL GAME OTHER THAN EA! Year after year it's the same garbage gets worse. If I were John Madden, I'd turning in my grave right now watching people blow their money on this *! Kick me off if you want. I'm speaking FACTS! And I've been playing Madden since '96. Been loyal, but no more!
Just to add on, I normally play CPUvCPU and the same problem persists. 4-6 interceptions per game on average, no matter what the slider is. It is not an issue of player skill. The slider is just broken and set way too high as a default.
