Thank you for addressing this. While it could have been more timely, I can now report, pack received.
For those still having issues with proof of purchase procedures, customer service/chat agents are very particular regarding your screen shots and do not provide much in guidance besides sending you links to “how to” posts. Took me a good bit of trial and error before giving what was needed. Didn’t help that I was out of town doing most of this from my phone, but finally did it.

So ive tried twice in the last 2 days to go through EA Help. The first guy literally told me I had to contact Xbox to get the player. I sent him this article and a tweet I got FROM EA Help yesterday. He said nope thats the old way you have to contact Xbox. I said Xbox doesnt deal with in game content and insisted that was how it was supposed to be done. This is my Xbox response as I told him it would be.
"In regards to this matter, only the game developer can help you with this since Xbox does not have access to any game.
As long as your pre-order was made successfully, you should automatically get all the promotions or bonuses that are included with it.
In any case that there is some in-game bonus that is missing, please contact the game developer directly since they are the only ones that have access to the game.
The only thing Xbox can do on this matter is to file for a refund request if you didn't get what you purchased.
Perhaps you can try to contact the game developer again and ask them to escalate your case so that you will be assisted further
You can also show them a screenshot of the pre-order that you made as a proof that you got the game"- Yep told them that but they said I had to contact Xbox
So then I said ok let me try again today. Im then told the below:

(6/19/2022, 4:28:38 PM): Oh yup, that was previously when the players reported that issue Chuck and when it was bought in notice by the team, they declared it as a known issue as all players are impacted by it. And since then the team is actually working to get this fixed and so that it does not happen again.This issue is NOT resolved and EA help is absolutely worthless. EA must know that because they put up the little note before you start a chat that says you will get banned or suspended for not being nice to the rep. Well maybe if EA gives them the tools to handle issues instead of reading from a script people wouldnt get so upset.

If you are having this problem on an Xbox One, I found the solution. You have to buy the new Series X/S. I had planned on buying one for my son before Christmas anyway, so I broke down and bought one now. Low and behold, if you drop another $500, you get your player that will be useless in two months. Seems worth it, right?
