We'll make sure the team is aware of connectivity issues like this reported to us. I feel like it would make sense to more likely experience some input lag if you're connecting to someone from the states since you're traveling across the Pacific, strange it's happening to two Australian players. Depending on the mode, the player with the stronger connection will be the home team for the peer-2-peer matches. That's why I asked if you were the away team when you experienced this.

Oh so does it use a hybrid system peer 2 peer and also servers, also I’m always the home team 

I'm able to confirm there aren't any Australian servers. Have you tried opening up ports for Madden to see if that helps reduce input delay for you?

We have them listed here. You would have to log into your router's admin panel to enter them in. Some routers have ports closed off by manufacturer default.

Wow well then that’s the issue, there isn’t any servers in Australia and we are forced to connect to the American servers. Wouldn’t a hybrid system that can be peer to peer and also server be the best solution. is there some way you can let EA know about this as a problem. 

I have the same issue. Have a 20mb line and still lags on kicking input.I'm in South Africa tho. 

Is it really that bad?, I had Madden 18 and i remember i could not do anything. Its a shame as i really want to play madden online but i cant.

Just curious if this was sorted by any chance? I’m from SA too.

Queenslander here, online is unplayable even with ports set correctly. 

My input delay is 1.5 to 2 seconds it is absolutely ridiculous. 

Just give us one bloody Australian server EA God dammit 

yea im an american based out of Bangladesh. i have a fast internet connection but the lags, specifically when kicking, are unbearable. i cant even hit PATs consistently. would be nice if EA set up servers on this part of the world. even if its in australia itll be close to where i am. 

@EA_Blueberry I experience constant delay while playing Madden 20 on an Xbox One. You are saying there are no servers in Australia so that is why there is input delay, but my friends do not experience this delay who are also in Australia. I haven't had a smooth game since I have purchased it around December 2019 and I have good internet as I play Fifa and do not experience delay or lag. I am confused as to why I experience this delay when playing the game and my friends who are also in Australia do not. This better be fixed in madden 21.
