my sons account which in a family member PSN account and has his own ea account wont connect on MADDEN 21 was never an issue with any other madden. Anyone know how I can fix it?

this has been happening to people for the last several days, EA knows about it, but whether they will do anything to fix it is unclear. I cant play MUT either, and many others have reported the same problem. nobody has actually gotten a helpful response from EA as far as i know

That won't work for my son since he pays for ps+. Every other EA game works, and Madden 21 is brand new, so I don't believe the issue is on PS4's side.As a customer, EA needs to make sure their product works on whatever platform they are selling it on.

Spoke to tech support. They say it is happening for just some users and not all users. They have been looking into the issue today. No idea of when a fix would be in place, but the more reports, the higher the priority will be.

EA fix this junk. My sons account is a minor account under Origin. The problem lies with associating HIS minor origin gamertag with the PS4 account he uses. The PS4 account has a secondary email I didn't use (since he didn't have email). That email is associated to his PS4 gamertag.HOWEVER, that email is associated to a parent account for his EA gamertag since I needed to do that to obey by your ridiculous minor setup which doesn't a separate minor account with an email (unlike every other security paradigm).So, EAou need to make a way for parents to associate a minor origin account (which has no email) to a PS4 tag instead of trying to use the email.

Tried again and still no luck. Looks like that is a different issue altogether. The issue here is with MINOR accounts. I can play fine, but my sons who have MINOR Origin accounts cannot. As you can see from the thread, others are having the same issue with MINOR accounts.

is the issue just with mut? or all online modes? what error message are you getting?

All online content, it won't even update the roster MUT 20 works fine just Madden 21. ATTENTION In order to access online features for this title your account on playstation network must be signed in and you must be signed in to the EA Servers.

I am having this exact same problem with my son's account. I just spent an hour in chat with tech support, only to come up empty: to wit, "Having access to MUT 20 doesn't necessarily mean that you will get access to MUT 21."
This makes no sense. Also, Madden 20 still works fine.
I have checked the internet connection, signed in and out of PSN, rebooted the PS4, made sure the latest game and system updates are installed, AND attempted to remove all age restrictions from his PS account just to try and get it working. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Same. I contact EA and they said everything with his account was good and its something with Playstation. However I can't get in touch with anyone there

Brandon - Just Madden 21, or other EA games? Just trying to see if the problem is EA or PS4 related.

Madden 21 for ps4 specifically I have it for Xbox also and works with 2 accounts fine

@bmloder8 Same issue. 1 son's account is fine. Mine is fine. My other son cannot access online content in Madden 21
